Released in July of 2023, Vegas Mega Spin is a video slot game created by High Limit Studio and available at online casinos powered by Microgaming.
The slot machine’s theme is Las Vegas, and it provides players with some standard casino symbols along with a ton of extras and a maximum win of 5,500 times their initial wager.
Style of Slots
The Vegas Mega Spin slot machine is played on a regular 5 reel, 3 row, 25 payline gameboard.
The slot machine has a fixed RTP of 96.00% and a medium level of volatility.
This slot is great for low and high rollers alike because to its large betting range of $0.25 to $40.00 per spin.
The stake in High Limit Studio may be changed from minimum to maximum with just 25 clicks of the mouse.
The slot might utilize some additional quality of life features, such as a max bet button, which is now absent.
You may mute the audio or turn off the music entirely from the settings menu.
The slot machine’s user interface is generic, the symbols are simple—perhaps too simple—and the animations are also unremarkable.
On reels 2 through 5, you’ll find the game’s Wild Symbol, which stands in for any other regular symbol (with the exception of the Bonus Wheel, the Collect Symbol, the Free Spins Scatter, and the Casino Chip Scatter). Stacks of wilds are possible as well.
When the stacked wilds contribute to a win, they combine into a single, giant symbol, as shown above.
The Bonus Wheel feature is activated when the player lands both the bonus wheel symbol and the collect money sign symbol.
Spinning the wheel can award one of three jackpots, multipliers of 2x to 10x, and a Link&Win bonus. We won the Major jackpot, which is worth 400 times our original wager.
Express Collect is activated by getting the collect dollar sign on reel 5 and any of the reward symbols (casino chip symbols with various cash prizes on them). All the chips on the board are cashed in at once when the collect symbol is used. When this and a bonus wheel both activate, the bonus wheel will be played and the awards from this feature will be forfeited. The words “Express Collect” would be spoken by a female voice when this function is activated.
The monetary awards vary from 1x to 200x, and they may also include the Mini (20x) and Major (400x) jackpots. In the main game, though, you’d see figures between 1 and 10 most of the time.
You can only activate Link&WinTM by spinning the bonus wheel. Each time you land a reward symbol, it will be locked in place and the re-spin counter will reset to 3. Mini prizes, Major rewards, and monetary values ranging from 1x to 200x are all on the table.
However, majority of the rewards on the board, including the bonus wheel and collect symbol, only multiplied by 2. Since triggering the wheel and then landing this feature is rather difficult, the total payoff was 17x.
Instead of hoping for the bonus wheel and then having a 1 in 7 chance of winning, it could have been preferable if there were trigger symbols for this feature.
Landing three scatters that depict free spins will launch this bonus round. During the bonus round, the value of the reward symbols will increase.
We were only able to win $4.00 (from of a $10 stake) since we did not hit any winning combinations or the Express Collect on our initial trigger. Even while our rewards improved on the second, third, and fourth triggers, they were still subpar in light of the fact that we only encountered the feature once per 200 spins.
True to its name, Vegas gigantic Spin is an online slot in which a single gigantic spin on the bonus wheel will pay you with up to 5,000x your wager.
Everything else, including the symbols, animations, Link&WinTM mechanism, and free spins bonuses, leaves us a little underwhelmed.
Overall, the game failed to hold our interest, was lacking key essential user interface elements, and failed to make us look forward to another round of spinning the wheel or reels.
We think that the Atlantis Power Combo Slot, the Fishin’ Pots of Gold Gold Blitz Slot, and the Gold Rush Express Slot at Yukon Gold Casino are all superior options right now.
